At the 2015 festival 20 year old singer-songwriter Georgia Pitts performed the song ‘Humanity’, which she specially wrote for the festival.
I see this earth is spinning around,
Is this land filled with promise or doubt?
Have the people turned it upside down?
I want answers, we want answers now
Use our hands,
Use our hands and our hearts
Light will follow,
Light will follow and block out the dark
Chorus
They say nothing can fix this trouble and mess
Coz one resolution will crumble the next
Our hearts are worth more than money,
Oh we find it funny you’re picking business over humanity

There’s so much food that, is going to waste
Too many egos that must start to deflate
Open our ears and our eyes and we can create
Not sit around, stay idle or wait
Use our hands,
Use our hands and our hearts
Light will follow
Light will follow and block out the dark
Chorus
They say nothing can fix this trouble and mess
Coz one resolution will crumble the next
Our hearts are worth more than money,
Oh we find it funny you’re picking business over humanity
The opening day festivities of the 14th festival included a performance by Jade Ingvarson-Favretto
14 year old Jade performed the song Beautiful Earth, that she composed in response to her concerns for our planet.
BEAUTIFUL EARTH
We come so close
To a world of happiness
But unless we change
The world ain’t gonna stay
Listen when we tell you all the problems
Listen when we speak of the truth
Why aren’t you complying
The world is slowly dying
our
Beautiful Earth
Magical Earth
Breathtaking Earth
This world is blooming
With love and life and fuming
of budding new faculties
conserving green facilities
Listen when we speak to save the forests
Listen when we say don’t tear ’em down
Choking on pollution
We need a revolution
Our
Beautiful Earth
Breathtaking Earth
Protest
Do your best
To fight the on-coming
Murderers of the Earth
Beautiful Earth
Breathtaking Earth
Magical Earth
Beautiful Earth…
At the 2013 festival Lee “Sonnyboy” Morgan sang his RECONCILIATION SONG
I been working 9/5 I don’t know how I’ll survive
when I’ve given all I can and you want more.
A little boy and a pretty wife and sometimes it don’t seem rite
for you to give a little and still want more.
You’re standing on that picket line and the days go by
with much to say and so much more.
So gather round this country now take a hold and I’ll show you how
are we looking down that same road.
CHORUS
Come and walk with me and talk with me
then you can see all around.
Come and take my hand
and I’ll show you this great wide land.
Then we can share what we have.
See the black man and the white, neither will give up the fight
and it’s, gunna take a little time.
Their little faces and their smiles, so damn easy as a child
You and I, we got a lot to learn coming down.
A little boy asks his Father tell me a little about myself
Are we looken down that same road?
CHORUS
Come and walk with me and talk with me
then you can see all around.
Come and take my hand
and I’ll show you this great wide land.
Then we can share what we have.
So here it is, this is our wonderful life I hope we all get it rite
and I’m gunna give the best I can. Leave it all behind the lines
of what’s wrong and what is right and what is right in the end.
CHORUS
Come and walk with me and talk with me
then you can see all around.
Come and take my hand
and I’ll show you this great wide land.
Then we can share what we have
