The 18th Mullum Mullum Festival has come and gone!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 18th Mullum Mullum Festival, held over the weekends of April 28th and 29th, and May 5th and 6th. We hope you enjoyed the sessions of more than twenty expert-lead walks and presentations and that we have left you with a greater understanding and appreciation of our beautiful native bushland.

We are excited to be able to share David Karoly’s presentation “Climate Change and Mullum Mullum: Where are we now and where are we heading?”. Click here to download a PDF copy.

We will soon be sharing a collection of photos from the Festival.

Thank you once again to everyone who joined us! We hope to see you at the 19th Mullum Mullum Festival, which will be held in 2019.

“It’s pretty amazing that our society has reached a point where the effort necessary to extract oil from the ground,
truck it to a refinery, turn it into plastic, shape it appropriately, truck it to a store,
buy it and bring it home is considered to be less effort than what it takes
to just wash the spoon when you’re done with it.”

All the food we serve at the festivals is vegetarian, with vegan and gluten free options and all our catering ware is 100% compostable and 100% biodegradable.

We are very proud to say that our previous festival opening days have generated less than 1/4 of a small rubbish bin of rubbish. Even less than that of recyclable material and the rest was all compostable.
