The 18th Mullum Mullum Festival will be held over the weekends of Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 April and Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 May 2018.
The Festival will once again present to you an exciting selection of over twenty expert-lead walks and presentations that will leave you with a greater understanding and appreciation of our beautiful native bushland.
The program will start off this year on the night of the 28th of April with a spotlight tour in search of nocturnal wildlife. This will be followed by the opening of the Festival with a celebration of Aboriginal culture on Sunday the 29th of April at Yarran Dheran Reserve.
This day will also include nature walks in English with Mandarin and Arabic interpreters, a guided walk on aboriginal use of indigenous plants, Aboriginal craft workshops and talking circle, music performances, displays and food.
We are looking forward to hosting eighteen experts in their fields on the 5th and 6th of May who will present and lead walks on a range of topics.
The 18th Festival is made possible through the financial assistance of Manningham, Whitehorse and Maroondah councils and Steve, Sue and Danny Mathews.
