The Mullum Mullum Festival AGM was held on Sunday 20 November 2016,

The AGM followed a great and well attended presentation by Dr Gary Presland on:

The landscapes of Aboriginal Melbourne

A number of Indigenous clans belonging to the Kulin nation resided in the area east of Melbourne prior to European settlement. Gary will provide a historical and archaeological perspective of the connections between local Aboriginal people and the natural environment.

Local historian and writer Gary Presland has presented lectures and spoken at public engagements for over 25 years, particularly in relation to his main areas of interest of Victorian Aboriginal history, police and criminal history in Victoria, natural history of the Melbourne area and the history of the Field naturalists Club of Victoria. Gary is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society of Victoria, an Honorary Fellow of The University of Melbourne, and an Honorary Associate of Museum Victoria. Living in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, he regularly participates in local community workshops and forums.
